Dragonfly Contracts FF&E division helps main contractors and governing bodies project manage, source and install all FF&E items for large PFI projects.
The FF&E will include all loose and fixed items for hospitals, schools or major projects.
The private finance initiative (PFI) provides a way of funding major capital investments, without immediate recourse to the public purse. Private consortia, usually involving large construction firms, are contracted to design, build, and in some cases manage new projects.
Contracts typically last for 30 years, during which time the building is leased by a public authority.
Part of these works is FF&E and over the past 4 years, Dragonfly Contracts has been working with key Main Contractors, developing software, helping to source, catalogue and fit all FF&E items.
- These items are usually loose items or items to be mechanically fixed to walls, floors and ceilings.
- These items are usually in large quantises, into the 1000’s
- These items are usually installed in every room of the development.
